We have some residents from the system (the drones - Uzi, N, V, Cyn, & Doll) who used to live on Copper 9, a planet about 40 light-years from Earth. In fact, their ex-enemy / mean older sister J still lives there, and recently found that she could somehow communicate with them.

Some facts:

• Copper 9 orbits a binary star system around their common centre of gravity (called the barycenter). These stars are both slightly smaller, redder, and cooler than Earth's Sun.
• One Copper 9 year lasts about 392.33 Copper 9 days. This means that as well as having an extra month (named Seramorris, lasts 27 days, placed after December), there is a leap year every 3 years, not 4.
• One day on Copper 9 lasts roughly 24h 35m on Earth, and for now this is approximated by making a second slightly longer to compensate. We don't know exactly how they deal with this on Copper 9.
• Outpost 3 on Copper 9, where the drones used to live, was (will be?) settled by humans sometime in the 3030s, and was used as a mining outpost and refinery until an incident caused the humans' terraforming tools to fail in the 3050s.
• Around Outpost 9, the temperatures can get as low as -120°C in the winter months, but on average are around -90°C.
• There is a weather cycle and oceans on Copper 9, however these are made of a chemical that we believe is Carbon Disulfide (CS₂), which interestingly is also a kind of neurotoxin.
• These conditions combined mean that the planet is entirely unsuitable for humans without some sort of terraforming technology, which is all no longer functioning.
